Uniqlo to open fourth Mumbai store in Malad this May

Japanese global apparel retailer Uniqlo today announced that it will launch its fourth exclusive brand outlet in Mumbai on May 16. Located in the metro’s Malad neighbourhood, the store will launch in Inorbit Mall with a sales area of approximately 8,969 square feet. 

“We are delighted to be launching our fourth store in Mumbai, bringing our LifeWear to the Malad area,” said Uniqlo India’s chief financial officer and chief operating officer Kenji Inoue in a press release. “Mumbai is an important and exciting market for us, and we have so far been thrilled, and very grateful, to be so warmly welcomed by Mumbaikars. With our newest store at Inorbit Mall, Malad, we hope that Uniqlo’s functional, high quality apparel will help make everyday life better for even more customers in the city.”

The store will open its doors to the public with a range of exclusive promotions and gifts, including a free ‘Round Mini Shoulder Bag’ for the first 100 customers on opening day. Focusing on Uniqlo’s LifeWear apparel and accessories line for men, women, and children, the store aims to cater to the area’s growing community of young professionals, families, and trend enthusiasts. 

Ahead of the store launch, Uniqlo launched an installation in Inorbit Malad which will run from April 17 to May 15. Visitors will have the chance to take part in the ‘Wish Tree Activation’ and win LifeWear products while receiving vouchers to use in-store on opening day.
