Bengaluru-based Nimida Group’s organic personal care and groceries retail business The Organic World has launched its first brick-and-mortar store in Coimbatore. Located in the city’s Vadavalli neighbourhood, the opening is part of The Organic World’s national expansion strategy.

The new outlet marks the brand’s entry into Tamil Nadu, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. Measuring 550 square feet, the store currently focuses on essential goods and home care items and will expand its offering to include more fresh produce over the coming months. The business caters to consumers seeking clean-label and sustainable options, especially in wellness-conscious neighbourhoods like Vadavalli.
“Coimbatore’s blend of modern living and traditional values creates the perfect environment for conscious consumption,” said Nimida Group’s founder Gaurav Manchanda, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “We are excited to bring our worry-free promise to the families of Vadavalli and look forward to growing deeper roots in the city.”
The brand’s Coimbatore launch is part of a regional strategy that includes opening three to five additional outlets in the next year. The Organic World is also eyeing key markets such as Pune, Chennai, and Delhi as it scales operations nationally. The rollout will follow a hybrid retail model, combining company-operated and franchise-owned formats.
