(05/07/24) AirAsia Malaysia has launched flights from Kuala
Lumpur to Sihanoukville,
Cambodia, and unveiled plans for flights between Kuala Lumpur and
Labuan Bajo in Indonesia.
The airline will operate thrice weekly flights to
both destinations.
Flights to Sihanoukville, Cambodia took off on 3
July and will
operate every Wednesday, Friday and
Sunday.
Flight AK264 is scheduled to leave Kuala Lumpur
(KUL) at 12:10, arriving at Sihanoukville Airport (KOS) at 13:00.
From Sihanoukville, flight AK265 is timed to
depart at 13:30, arriving in Kuala Lumpur at
16:20.

Sihanoukville is one of Cambodia’s most well know
coastal cities and also the capital of Sihanoukville Province, locally known as
Kampong Som.
Scheduled to take off on 3 September 2024, the Labuan Bajo
service will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
From Kuala Lumpur (KUL), flight AK336 is scheduled
to depart at 11:10, arriving at Komodo International Airport (LBJ)
near Labuan Bajo at 14:25.
From Labuan Bajo, flight AK337 is slated to leave
at 14:55, arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 18:35.
The new route represents the group’s 21st direct
service between the two countries.
AirAsia Malaysia (flight code AK) currently flies to
13 destinations in Indonesia from Kuala Lumpur to Bali (Denpasar),
Balikpapan, Banda Aceh, Jakarta, Kertajati, Makassar, Medan,
Padang, Pekanbaru, Surabaya and Yogyakarta; as well as from Penang to
Jakarta and Medan.
AirAsia Indonesia (flight
code QZ) operates 11 routes in Malaysia from Jakarta to Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu,
Kuala Lumpur, Kuching and Penang; Bali to
Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur ; Medan to Kuala Lumpur and Penang;
Lombok to Kuala Lumpur; as well as from Surabaya to Johor Bahru.
